Event Description
The RAL Art Center will host, in its 60th year, their signature event the Labor Day Art Show from September 1 thru September 25 at 19 N. Main Street, Kilmarnock, VA. An awards ceremony and opening reception will occur on Friday, September 3rd from 5:00-7:00 pm. In addition to their usual Tuesday thru Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm schedule, the show will also be open Sunday and Monday of Labor Day weekend to accommodate visitors celebrating the end of summer.
This show is widely recognized as one of the longest standing visual arts shows in Virginia. Held in a variety of venues over its 60-year history, the show moved to the RAL Art Center in 2014. This show sees attendance of well over 1,200 visitors per year.
In addition to the Labor Day Show, RAL co-operative artists will have the opportunity to display one additional work in their Stouffer Exhibition Room.
